The new collection is called 2 GHOUL 4 SKOOL and is inspired by her duaghters love of Monster High.

NOTD - catch up for the week

I was planning on trying to post everyday with the nailmpolish I was currently wearing but unfortunately due to work and DVD box sets, that hasn't happened.
So, today's post is my attempt to catch up and show you the polishes I have been wearing lately.
1st up is today's polish.
This is OPI Flower-To-Flower from the 'Nice Stems' collection.
It is a lovely pink polish with a subtle pink shimmer. Bright enough without being neon.
I have also done an accent nail with Deborah Lippman Birthday Party over the Flower-to-Flower.
 Pen on my hand...like always.

I really liked this polish combo. It was fun and easy.
Next up is Kleancolor Chunky Bluebell Holo over Revlon Royal.
I really like the change in colour you can see in the glitter. There is a definite shift from orange to green, then you also see some red and yellow at times.
This was a fun polish. However, I found that the Kleancolour glitter takes FOREVER to dry and when I added Seche Vite, I had some major shrinkage.

So, I like the look of it but the application was a little annoying.

Now we have Green with Envy from Glimmer by Erica, over Ulta3 Black Satin

This is a really cool glitter top coat. I got so many comments about this polish.
I really wasn't expecting the attention I got from it because, although I like it, it definitely is not my favourite polish nor does it stand out as much as some of my polishes.
But the overwhelming opinion of the people was that this is an awesome polish.
The application was easy and dry time was good.

Next is Treasure Chest from Glimmer by Erica over Ulta3 Orchid.

This is after about 1 1/2 days of wear.

Thanks for stopping by.

My current favourite polish...Gloss n' Sparkle - Unicorn Droppings

Just a quick post to show my current favourite polish.

This is Unicorn Droppings by Gloss n' Sparkle

So pretty...shimmery base with multicoloured dots. It is such a cute polish.

I absolutely love this polish. It applies easily and looks gorgeous.
I have just ordered another 4 polishes from Gloss n' Sparkle and I am anxiously waiting for them to arrive.

Thanks for stopping by.

Nails...China Glaze Electrify Swatch

Today I have a swatch of the cute "Electrify" glitter polish by China Glaze.

This is 2 coats over  Ulta3 Red Slippers with Seche Vite top coat

This is such a cool glitter polish. You don't even really need a solid colour under.
After 2 to 3 coats, it has complete glitter coverage.
Application is really easy and the dry time is pretty good.

Even though I really like the application and the glitter coverage, i wasn't a huge fan of this polish.
I think the colour wasn't great on me and I thought it looked a bit over the top...even though I usually love any type of glitter polish.

Indie Polish...Gloss 'n Sparkle Swatch

Hi everyone.

This is my very first blog post, so please bear with me while I figure this out.
***I'm not sure why I am talking to people...I'm pretty sure no one is actually reading this post***

My first post is about nail polish...something I have become obsessed with lately.
It has seriously started to become a problem. I have been reading millions (not literally) of nail blogs and buying obscene amounts of nail polish.

I recently made my first indie nail polish purchase...Yay!
I am still waiting for that order to be delivered. It was from the awesome Dollish Polish, which unfortunately is from the USA, so shipping to Australia could take awhile.

So, this post is about my second indie nail polish purchase. It is from a fantastic Australian seller Gloss n' Sparkle. You can buys these from her Etsy store here.

The First polish is called Rockabilly Rage. It is a red and black glitter polish in a pink cream base. There are red and black hex glitters and black bar glitters.

It is such a cute polish and can be worn layered over another polish (as seen below) or by itself.
If wearing by itself, it takes about 3 or 4 coats for opacity but it does look exceptionally cute. Unfortunately I don't have any pics of it by itself...but I'm sure I will get some in the future and will put them up.

This is 1 coat of Rockabilly Rage over OPI If You Moust You Moust (from the Vintage Minnie Collection).
Big apologies for the cleanup job...I was in a bit of a hurry.

If You Moust You Moust by itself.

This next polish by Gloss 'n Sparkle is also great!
It is a Spectraflair top coat. If you don't know what spectraflair is, it is a holographic pigment.
If you layer this over a normal nail polish suddenly you have a holo polish.

This is 1 coat of the Spractraflair Top Coat over OPI Love is a Racket.
This is in natural indoor light.
Again...apologies for clean up.

With flash.
Look at the blue pen on my hand...why didn't I bother cleaning that off first??

I also bought the below polish, Unicorn Droppings but I haven't had a chance to swatch it yet.
This picture is directly from Gloss 'n Sparkle's Etsy page (I hope she doesn't mind) and looks like an absolutely beautiful polish.

Unicorn Droppings - Nail Polish 13ml
See, this is how my pictures could look if I cleaned up properly...and if I hadn't just broken 3 of my nails...oops!

I am definitely going to buy some more Gloss 'n Sparkle polishes.
Their application is sooo easy and they look absolutely beautiful. Plus it is an Aussie seller, so postage is quick and cheap.

She also sent me a bonus clear top coat to try. I haven't tried it out yet but I will definitely try it soon and let you know how it goes. If its anything like these other polishes, it will be great.
